Two screens, one ticket. The guest never leaves the counter.

How a ticket actually moves

This is not a self-order kiosk you abandon. A person is on the call the whole time — they just do not have to stand at the tablet.

01

Guest walks up to the tablet

The kiosk fills the screen: your name, logo, hours, and a live view of the cashier. No guest login. No app to download.

02

You ring the order from anywhere

Menu items, sold-out, notes, and custom prices — from the back room, the kitchen, or another site. Extra cashiers can help; the owner keeps billing and branding.

03

They pay on your Square Terminal

The total goes to the Terminal at the counter. Card stays with Square. Cash is still an option, with no KioskDesk card fee.

Built for a real counter, not a demo

The same desk we run for a live shop: custom prices, sold-out, hours, extra staff, and a Terminal that already belongs to you.

Live video, not a chat bot

Guest and cashier see and hear each other. A relay keeps the call up on guest Wi-Fi that would otherwise block peer-to-peer video.

Your Square. Your payout.

Connect the business Square account and pair the Terminal. Card money lands with you. KioskDesk never sees card numbers.

Any item, any price

Catalog items plus a custom line when the guest wants something off-menu. Override a price without rebuilding the menu.

Sold out, not hidden

Mark an item sold out so cashiers still see it and can ring it if you choose. Retired items leave the grid until the owner restores them.

Hours and a closed screen

Set open and close times, including overnight. Outside hours the kiosk tells guests you are closed instead of taking a ticket.

Your fee, your welcome

Logo, welcome line, and a service fee or tax from 0–30% that you set. The kiosk and the ticket stay in sync.

Step away without leaving a ghost register

Be right back pauses the kiosk while you are idle. When you come back, the same cart is still there.

Day totals in your inbox

Owners can email the day's paid tickets, voids, cash vs card, and the KioskDesk card fee collected.

If you already own a Square Terminal, you are halfway there

Sign up, add the menu, open the kiosk on a tablet, connect Square, pair the device. Guests pay the same way they do today. You just stop standing next to the glass.

  • A counter you do not want a person glued to
  • A kitchen or back office that still needs to talk to the guest
  • A second location you cover from the first
  • A Square Terminal you already own or are about to

Simple pricing you can explain at the counter

One plan. No per-seat surprise. The card fee is taken from your Square payout so the guest total does not jump.

The $1, in plain words

Guest orders $18.00. You send $18.00 to the Terminal. Square pays you, then takes our $1 out of that payout. The kiosk never shows $19.00.

On very small tickets Square caps app fees, so we never take more than their cap. You connect Square once so that $1 can come from the payout.

You still pay Square's own processing. KioskDesk does not mark that up.

Questions people ask before they pay

Do I need Square?+

Yes for cards. You need your own Square seller account and a Square Terminal at the counter. Square's fees still apply. KioskDesk does not replace Square — it sends the ticket to the Terminal you pair.

Does the guest pay an extra $1?+

No. The $1 is taken from your Square payout on card tickets. The total on the kiosk and the Terminal is the same number you rang. Cash tickets have no KioskDesk fee.

What is the monthly price?+

14 days free, then $29.00 per month per business. Pay from the owner cashier when the trial ends.

Can more than one cashier work?+

Yes. The owner can add extra cashiers. They can ring, mark sold out, and take payment. Only the owner changes branding, hours, the fee, Square, staff, and the monthly plan.

What about cash?+

Cash is first-class. Record what they handed you and the change. No cash drawer hardware and no $1 platform fee on cash.

Will video work on public Wi-Fi?+

That is what the relay is for. Guest networks often block a direct call. KioskDesk turns the video through a relay so the cashier and kiosk can still see each other.

Do you print receipts or run a cash drawer?+

Not in the app. Square can send the card receipt. Day totals can be emailed. Pickup ticket numbers are not in this version.

Who is this not for?+

If you want a fully unattended self-order kiosk with no person on the call, this is the wrong product. KioskDesk is a remote cashier sitting with the guest on video.

Put a person on the kiosk without standing there

14 days to add a menu, open the tablet, and pair Square. Keep it if the counter feels lighter. Cancel by stopping — no annual lock.
